In this role, you will own, optimize, and scale paid search across Google and other high‑intent platforms, bringing core performance workstreams fully in‑house. You’ll work directly with the
Director of Performance Marketing and collaborate closely with the
Co‑Founder and CEO, operating in a remote‑first, autonomy‑driven environment where clarity, execution, and results matter.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $120,000 – $180,000
- Target range: $140,000 – $160,000, depending on experience and level
- Fully remote (US‑based)

- Up to 8 additional weeks unpaid

Your Role
Drive Performance, Efficiency, and Measurable Growth Through Paid Search
As a
Performance Marketing Manager / Senior Manager – Paid Search, you will own our paid search ecosystem end‑to‑end. This includes strategy, execution, testing, analytics, and clear communication of insights that directly influence business decisions.
You will:
- Take over and internalize paid search efforts currently supported by agencies and contractors
- Design and execute rigorous testing frameworks
- Continuously refine campaigns to improve efficiency, ROI, and scalability
This role is ideal for someone who believes
tactics are strategy and who finds satisfaction in getting the details exactly right.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage paid search channels including:
- Google Search, Demand Gen, and Performance Max
- Bing Paid Search
- Apple Search
- Bring paid search workstreams fully in‑house, managing and coordinating external agencies and contractors as needed
- Develop, launch, and optimize campaigns using data‑driven insights
- Conduct rigorous A/B testing, ensuring statistical significance and actionable conclusions
- Continuously analyze performance metrics to improve efficiency, CAC, and ROI
- Communicate results, learnings, and recommendations clearly and proactively, especially in writing
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure paid media aligns with broader business objectives
- Maintain clean, organized processes for tracking, measuring, and reporting performance success
Your Qualifications

- Proven experience managing $1M+ in monthly paid search budgets
- Deep comfort working with numbers, analytics, and experimentation
- Strong attention to detail and a love for being in the weeds
- Highly tactical mindset—enjoys execution as much as strategy
- Organized, self‑directed, and effective in a fully remote environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of analytics concepts including:
- Confidence intervals
- Statistical significance
- Experimental design and testing methodologies
Bonus Points
- Experience with additional performance channels:
- YouTube / YouTube TV
- CTV
- Programmatic
- Paid social
- Background in SaaS, two‑sided marketplaces, or home services
- Working knowledge of SQL or Python for deeper data analysis
